This online training program defines clear steps to achieve industry best practices across your team’s quality control in fueling and safety. Built specifically for the realities of aviation fuel operations, TITAN University helps FBOs train smarter, operate safer, and maintain compliance with confidence.

TITAN Aviation Fuels provides comprehensive initial and recurrent fuel safety training designed to meet applicable aviation fueling safety and operational requirements. This training is accepted by the FAA Administrator, as identified in the current FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5230-4c and applicable addendum.

Specific FAA approved trainings receive a Certificate of Completion:

  • Line Service Fuel Safety Training (Online Training)
  • Line Service Supervisor Training (Online Training)
  • Fuel Safety Supervisor / Train-the-Trainer (In-person training offered four times a year)

Training is designed to provide personnel with the knowledge and understanding necessary to safely receive, handle, store, and dispense aviation fuels while maintaining proper fuel quality and operational safety.

Fuel Quality Control Training Program — Basic

Designed for fueling personnel who work under close supervision and primarily perform aircraft fueling tasks. This foundational path covers essential fuel quality, safety, contamination prevention, and fueling practices. (Estimated time to complete full learning path – 1 day 2 hours)

Fuel Quality Control Training Program — Advanced

Designed for line personnel who work independently and perform the full scope of fueling operations at an FBO. This path includes all Basic Courses and training expands into tank farm operations, vehicle loading and maintenance, fueling equipment, record keeping, fuel receipt, human factors, incident reporting, and DEF/FSII procedures. (Estimated time to complete full learning path – 2 days 7 hours 10 minutes)

Fuel Quality Control Training Program — FAR 139.321 Line Service

Designed for line service personnel at airports where FAR 139.321 compliance is required. This path provides comprehensive fuel quality and operational training together with specific instruction addressing FAR 139.321 responsibilities and compliance requirements. Successful completion provides a 14 CFR Part §139.321(b)(1) through (b)(7) and §139.321 (e)(2) certificate (ONLY) valid for 1-year. (Estimated time to complete full learning path – 3 days 10 minutes)

Advanced Courses plus:

  • FAR / 14 CFR § 139.321 Fire SafetyEstimated time to complete - 1 hour

Fuel Quality Control Training Program — FAR 139.321 Supervisor

Designed for supervisory personnel responsible for fuel quality operations at airports where FAR 139.321 compliance is required. This path includes the operational and FAR 139.321 content provided to line service personnel, plus additional instruction in leadership, supervision, accountability, and training on-site personnel. Successful completion provides a 14 CFR §139.321(b)(1) through (b)(6) and §139.321(e)(1) supervisor certificate (ONLY) valid for 2-years and prepares qualified supervisors to train personnel for FAR 139.321 compliance. (Estimated time to complete full learning path – 3 days 2 hours 10 minutes)
